Casey Stoner not only dominated the MotoGP Championship last year, he came to Laguna Seca last year and performed flawlessly from pole position to checkered flag—even braking the 12 year curse which doomed every other MotoGP pole sitter at the track from ever standing on the top step of the podium. The 2008 season has begun and Casey is looking to have another great season aboard the Desmosedici GP8. Casey Stoner took the first win of the 2008 season and looked to be in great form under the lights at Qatar as the Desmosedidci GP8 topped the speed charts at almost 208 mph!

Come see Casey Stoner, the Desmosedidci GP8 and the rest of the Ducati MotoGP Team at Laguna Seca. Ducati Island will be in its 12th consecutive year and promises be bigger and better than ever! Contestants in the second round of the 2008 Ducati Superbike Concorso will be showing off their amazing machines and the Island's non-stop action will keep you excited the entire weekend.

Larry Pegram will also be piloting the new Ducati 848 as he sets his sites on the AMA Formula Xtreme Championship. After his 2nd place finish at the final Laguna Seca race last year, Larry vowed that he was coming back in 2008 to win. After his strong showing at the Daytona 200 season opener, it should prove to be an exciting race.
